The Chronicle features success stories from Hope & Hope: “While churches and synagogues provide food, shelter, and socializing for a week or two at a stretch, [the executive director] and two other staff members work out of the Burlingame day center, where families can use semi-private living rooms, a nap room, play area, laundry facilities, showers, computers with Internet access, storage lockers, and a community kitchen. The free program allows parents to save money for rent and deposits while the staff helps them search for jobs, housing, and child care as needed.” Click the images to read the full story.
