Meg Clark, Executive Director

Meg Clark grew up in the Bay Area and is a recent graduate from Illiff School of Theology in Denver. She earned her Master's degree in Social Change, while serving as a youth pastor and working to organize students. While living in Denver she also worked as a behavior coach for at-risk youth and their families.

After receiving her B.S. in Interdisciplinary studies from Columbia Christian College in Portland,OR; She served in the Peace Corps in Gao, Mali; worked as a camp director in Grass Valley, CA and taught English in South Korea.

She came back to the Bay Area to be close to family and has been managing marketing content and social media. Meg enjoy's being a listening and empowering person in people's lives and as volunteer coordinator looks forward to connecting with all of HOME & HOPE's wonderful volunteers and guests.

Arlina Ramirez, Weekend Office Manager

Arlina, a founding employee, joined the organization in September 2001. Arlina has spent 20 years working with housing in San Mateo County as a Housing Specialist assisting homeless and low-income populations. She was recognized by County Supervisors and Women in Government as outstanding Woman of the Year in 2002 for her extraordinary commitment and service. She is responsible for assisting clients in obtaining and maintaining permanent housing.

Enrique Ramirez
Weekend Staff and Inventory Coordinator

Enrique joined Home and Hope October of 2013. As a single father with a background in property management, and, as such, very familiar with how hard it can be to afford housing, he sought to reach out and help his community in any way possible, and Home and Hope was just the right fit for him.

As Home and Hope's "transportation and logistics guy," Enrique is responsible for loading and delivering Home and Hope supplies and our clients to and from our many different host sites.

Enrique is immersed in various other social and community- based environments playing musical instruments, supporting local music events, relaxing with friends, and watching films.

Gina Cooper
Program Assistant

A native to the Peninsula, Gina has worked as a Receptionist/Office Admin and Pharmacy Tech. Gina is now HOME & HOPE's Program Assistant.

In 2010 when the economy crashed, Gina worked for Goodwill Industries. At the time, she and her son and lived with Gina's mom. In March 2012 Gina's mom was diagnosed with cancer and passed away March 21. Gina's household income was greatly diminished. Unable to keep up with bills, Gina and her son became homeless, and, eventually became guests at Home and Hope. "My time as a guest became more than finding a place to live. I love the concept and compassion of one human being helping another."

As a Program Assistant Gina looks forward to connecting with clients and volunteers.HOME & HOPE is lucky to have Gina on staff!

Raj Rambob, Outgoing Executive Director

Raj served as Executive Director from 2009 to 2015, helping the organization grow from its early days as The Interfaith Hospitality Network into the vibrant organization that it is today. During Raj's term as Director, Home and Hope saw a dramatic 42% increase in program capacity.

An ordained minister in the UCC tradion, Raj will continue his commitment to social issues and community service.
